As i have already used, we turn back in time and we talk about the biggest pop dance music project in Romania in the 90’s late.

Andre band, was founded in 1998 and was the first song “La Intalnire”  enjoyed a great success among youngs libertines, because the lyrics were referring to: sex, fun, fashion and much sprightly teens. Andreea Balan and Andreea Antonescu had as mentors and impresarios on their fathers, who invested a lot for their appearances, they even rented a plane to arrive as quickly from one show to the next one.

In the summer of 1999 appears the song “Libera la Mare” a signature song of the group. The song was interpreted on “Mamaia Festival”, where it won 1st place in the “Best Songs”, thus becoming the youngest singers who won the trophy.

In early 2001, the Bravo magazine receive the distinction “Best band for teens” and are called “princesses dance music” separated themselves but shortly due to disagreements with Antonescu. The band meets after the death of Andrea Antonescu father, this being his last wish. The duo launches an album “O Noapte si-o Zi” and a single of the same name, promoted videos, but split again, especially Balan denying any chance of there being a reconciliation work between the two, considering possible only a duet. The success of the group is considered the largest in the history of Romanian music.

The two soloists, continues his solo musical career, but one that has withstood the charts until today is Andreea Balan.
