On Saturday, March 23, 2019, the Sparkassen-Arena Aurich turns into the hottest 90s party in the region. The MEGA 90s party will take visitors on a journey back in time to the nineties. Artists like FunFactory, Layzee aka Mr. President, Markus and the cap cat DJ team will shake the Sparkassen-Arena.

Anyone who grew up in the 90s is part of an absolute cult decade – hours of waiting in front of the tape recorder to record the favorite song, the beloved Gameboy, ass-antlers, tattoo chains, Buffalos, Diddl mice, Tamagotchis, the Walkman and Snake on their first mobile phone could not be missing then.

But only a little has shaped the 90s as much as the music. Dancefloor, techno, eurodance, drum’n’bass, jungle, grunge, boygroups, hip-hop and pop, those were the nineties. The MEGA 90s party brings three artists of this legendary decade live on the Sparkassen-Arena stage. Fun Factory is a German Eurodance group founded in 1993. Your first CD NonStop! The album was released in 1994. This album contains most of the songs from their first release, including several hits like “Close To You”, “Take Your Chance”, “Pain” and “Groove Me”. The Eurodance group “MR.PRESIDENT FT LAYZEE” became known in 1994 with their single “Up’n Away”. They got the Golden Record for that. then in the summer of 1996 came the big breakthrough: with “Coco Jambo” Not only did they produce a catchy tune, but they also took second place in the German charts for several weeks. A short time later followed with “I give you my heart” the next top ten hit. The following year they released “Jojo Action” and “Take me to the limit”. Markus is a German pop singer, who became known in the early 1980s as part of the New German Wave. In 1982, Markus released the longplayer ball bolts and rockets. From this album comes the decoupled single I want fun. It became a success in Germany and made Markus a popular interpreter of the New German Wave. the next top ten hit. From this album comes the decoupled single I want fun. It became a success in Germany and made Markus a popular interpreter of the New German Wave. From this album comes the decoupled single I want fun. It became a success in Germany and made Markus a popular interpreter of the New German Wave.
